*Game:“Slow reveal” Flashcards (doll, ball, teddy bear, car) - Use Flashcards from the previous lessons. - Put a flashcard on the board and cover it with a piece of paper or card. - Very slowly move the paper to reveal the picture, little by little. - Ask What’s this?or another appropriate question, such as What is it? Hold them up one at a time and say the words for students to repeat. - Put the flashcards in different places around the room. Say a word for students to point to the correct flashcard and say the word. Repeat. - Praise students if they have done well. àExpected outcomes and assessment - Task completed with excellence: Students can say the words correctly. - Task completed: Students cansay the words. - Task uncompleted: Students are unable tosay the words. *Listen and point. Ask different studentsWhat’s this? - Play the recording for students to listen and point to the pictures when they hear the words. - Recite the words of the song with the class, without the music. Say each line and ask students to repeat. - Play the recording again for students to sing along and follow the words in their books. - Ask some students/groups perform the song in the front of the class. - Check students’ pronunciation.
