Describing the world in which you would like to live in the year 2020. (Hãy mô tả thế giới mơ ước của bạn vào năm 2020.)

Task 1. Your school organises a competition for students to write about The world in which I would like to live in the year 2020. Below ... (Trường bạn tổ chức một cuộc thi cho học sinh viết về Thế giới mơ ước của tôi vào năm 2020. Dưới đây là bài luận của một học sinh. Làm việc theo cặp. Đọc và trả lời các câu hỏi về nó.)

Hướng dẫn dịch:

Thế giới mơ ước của tôi sẽ là một thế giới hòa bình. Không có chiến tranh và xung đột giữa các quốc gia. Con người sẽ không phải sống dưới nỗi sợ hãi từ sự khủng bố và mọi người sống chan hòa với nhau. Mọi người đều có một công việc và tất cả đều có một cuộc sống có tiêu chuẩn tốt. Tôi ước sống trong một môi trường trong sạch, lành mạnh, ít ồn ào và ít ô nhiễm hơn. Ngày càng có nhiều công viên lớn hơn để cho trẻ con có chỗ vui chơi và động vật hoang dã được bảo vệ. Nhưng ước muốn chính của tôi là muốn nhìn thấy con người ít thực dụng hơn, ít ích kỉ hơn, ít bạo lực hơn và nhiều tình yêu hơn bây giờ.

1. What are the student's concerns about: (Đâu là mối quan tâm của học sinh về:)

  • world peace? (hòa bình thế giới?)

  • employment? (việc làm?)

  • the environment? (môi trường?)

  • the people? (con người?)

=> The student concerns about:

    - world peace: a peaceful world, no war, no conflicts, no threat of terrorism, and everyone lives together in harmony.

    - living environment for all beings: clean and healthy, less noise, less pollution, more and larger parks, wildlife is protected.

    - employment: everyone has a job.

    - people's lifestyle: less materialistic, less selfish, less violent, and more loving.

2. Are your concerns similar to those? (Sự quan tâm của bạn có giống như thế không?)

=> Yes. I have the same concerns as his.

3. Do you have other concerns? What are they? (Bạn có quan tâm đến những thứ khác không? Chúng là gì?)

=> No, I don't.

Task 2. Write about the ideal world in which you would like to live in the year 2020, using the ideas you have discussed in Task 1. (Viết về một thế giới lí tường bạn muốn sống vào năm 2020, dùng những ý tưởng bạn đã thảo luận trong Bài tập 1.)

Gợi ý:

I would like to live in a peaceful and clean world. I would also wish in the future, all cars that run on petrol would be replaced by solar cars, so the environment will become very cleaner and healthier. There will be less air pollution around us. We won`t be disturbed by the noise of vehicles. Our children will have larger parks to play in. Every one has a good job. When people have good jobs, they will not have any conflicts. Their living standards will be improved. At that time all of us will be living in harmony. Everybody will be less selfish, less violent, and more loving. My main desire is a peaceful world, in which, there will be no war, no threat of terrorism.
