The diagram demonstrates the honeybee’s life cycle.

Overall, the cycle lasts for more than a month with six main stages of development including laying eggs, hatching and growing.

In terms of how the honeybee was born, the mother's bee lays a single or a pair of eggs every three days. After 9 to 10 days, the eggs hatched and offsprings are not prepared to leave the eggs until five days later. On the following week, small babies have not yet fully growth in size, however, they have emerged wings and other body parts.

During the next 9 days, the baby's bees have been given their name as nymph moults and the creature is triple the size compared to that of the previous stage. Since then, an obvious characteristic of the young adult appears, in particular, stripes are horizontally covered throughout their bodies. At the last stage of the life cycle, the bees are left with only 4 days in adulthood prior to the beginning of new ones.

The diagram depicts the steps involved in the life cycle of a honeybee. Overall, the whole process takes between thirty-four and thirty-six days and there are five stages in this cycle from the hatching of the egg to the shedding stages and finally a mature adult bee.

To begin with, the female adult bee usually lays one or two eggs every three days. Following this, after a period of nine to ten days, the egg hatches and a nymph appears. In the subsequent nine days after hatching, the nymph moults up to three times as it grows in size.

In terms of the moulting process, this happens five days after the nymph emerges from the egg, then again at seven days and then nine days after it hatches. Eventually, after this shedding process is complete, the nymph forms into a young adult and it then takes a further four days for the bee to reach full maturity.

The diagram illustrates the various stages in the life of a honeybee. We can see that the complete life cycle lasts between 34 and 36 days. It is also noticeable that there are five main stages in the development of the honeybee, from egg to mature adult insect.

The life cycle of the honeybee begins when the female adult lays an egg; the female typically lays one or two eggs every 3 days. Between 9 and 10 days later, each egg hatches and the immature insect, or nymph, appears.

During the third stage of the life cycle, the nymph grows in size and sheds its skin three times. This moulting first takes place 5 days after the egg hatches, then 7 days later, and again another 9 days later. After a total of 30 to 31 days from the start of the cycle, the young adult honeybee emerges from its final moulting stage, and in the space of only 4 days it reaches full maturity.
