Some people prefer to provide help or support directly to the local community - mẫu 1

Shocking news about charity fraud cases, in recent years, has attracted the ire of the public because their money donation to natural disasters did not reach victims. This is allegedly one of the reasons why some choose to give their financial support directly to the needy, not to any aid organization. From my perspective, even though the fact that some charity groups make use of the generosity of benefactors is undeniable, these organizations are still trustworthy for us to donate money or clothes.

It sounds childlike, but indeed many individuals donate money to charities just in order to be mentioned in mass media. With regard to this, humanitarian organizations would make donors’ names known more widely because they often work in collaboration with news agencies to popularize their campaigns via several media channels. Accordingly, lists of sponsors would be mentioned respectfully in TV news or online newspapers, which is beneficial for their personal reputation. Besides, members of international aid groups are often trained in the skills of charitable giving. As a result, they may be better at holding community events than a single person who might lack the experience to be a skilled fund-raiser.

However, it is not by accident that many people choose to make a direct donation. As stated above, the main reason is that not every humanitarian association is transparent and credible. In the name of legitimate charities, some fake organizations played on benefactors’ sympathy to pocket their money or even noncash items such as books, clothes, furniture, etc. Their donations, therefore, might not reach victims of outbreaks or natural calamities. Thus, many individuals lend a helping hand to disadvantaged people to avoid falling victim to charity scams.

In conclusion, in my opinion, international aid organizations are still well worth a bridge for the whole society to help the needy overcome adversity.

Giving money to those in need can be a personally satisfying experience, but there is a choice between donating nationally and internationally through charities or giving directly to those around you. This essay will consider the merits of both approaches.

The first advantage of providing direct support is that you can know exactly how your money is being spent. For example, if you give money directly to people in your local village or town, you can see where it has gone. When you donate to larger charitable organisations, on the other hand, you are not sure how much will actually be given to those in need as some may be allocated to administrative costs or expensive marketing campaigns. Another benefit is that you can see the impact on those you are helping, which can lead not only to great personal satisfaction but also to respect from others in the local community who appreciate the work you do.

There are advantages, however, in giving to charities that are national and international. First and foremost, there is the choice of good causes. Locally the kinds of places to help may be limited, but in larger organisations you can get involved in such activities as sponsoring a child or conserving wildlife. Not only this, donating to larger charities with an international reach means having the knowledge that you are involved in issues of fundamental global importance, such as curing diseases and human rights, or helping those caught up in tragic environmental events, such as flooding, earthquakes and famines.

In conclusion, given the benefits of both, I would argue that an individual should make their own choice based on their personal preferences and whichever provides them with the most personal satisfaction. What is crucial is that we continue to give to those who are more in need than ourselves.

Today poverty is still on full display anywhere in the world, even from the sparkling and vibrant streets of Los Angeles or to the less glamorous district of Mumbai city. In the fight against poverty, help is at hand. However, a bone of contention remains whether people should directly support the underprivileged or donate to charities. This essay will look at this issue from both perspectives.

There are clear justifications for why some funders would rather help the poor by themselves. First of all, help is given instantly as there is no paperwork, no collection, no delivery involved. It would also mean that no money is lost in the pockets of corrupt government officials. Second of all, it has been found that a considerable number of recipients of aid programs spend money on children’s education or healthcare, rather than alcohol or cigarettes. Therefore, development can be easily promoted.

However, the idea of giving cash directly to the poor is also treated with skepticism by many people who otherwise suggest that money or any other type of donation should be given to charity organisations. Their main argument is that for the people whose lives have always been devoid of material possessions or money, knowing how to manage the financial aids is out of the question. There are many cases where poor people use the money to start businesses; however, bankruptcy is imminent due to their lack of knowledge regarding financial management. For this reason, charities, which can distribute the funds more effectively, prove their prominent roles in improving the living standards of the impoverished.

To conclude, I am inclined to think that giving money to charities is a better way to end poverty as it deals with deeper causes of the issue in the long run.

Nowadays, an increasing number of people are willing to help poor people, but how they can donate appropriately is a tricky question. While considering the required expertise and convenience, many resort to charities to hand in their donations, I believe it would be better to directly support the local community, as it can be a quicker and more transparent approach.

Procedural convenience is the most important reason why donors choose charities for the donations because it saves their plenty of time by simply just filling in a few forms and handing in their money. In addition, professional charities are more experienced and well-organized because these kinds of activities have been significantly developed and improved. For example, every year charities handle millions of US dollars from a large range of donors for various situations, such as charities for earthquakes or pandemic diseases. Therefore, they are more likely to have a reliable management system to handle complex tasks.

However, in terms of transparency question, supporting poor people directly over private charities is preferred by many philanthropists. In other words, the donors are often worried if their money will be used properly and wisely because the allocation of funds usually is an unpublished process within charities. By contrast, if people can purchase some goods and deliver them to poor people directly, the concern of transparency can be completely avoided. Another problem is that the work efficiency of charities is usually quite low due to the fact that they have to deal with a number of management issues, such as endless meetings to discuss and plan expenses, whereas assistance can be provided much faster in a neighbourhood circumstance.

In conclusion, although both methods have numerous benefits, I would encourage donors to directly support the people who need them, because in need of an emergency issue, a fair and faster response is important regardless of the level of competence.

Donating money to the poor is a humanitarian activity that has drawn the public ‘s attention in recent years. While many donors provide money and other support directly to the needy, others choose national aid organizations. In this essay, I will discuss both sides of this issue before my own opinion is stated.

On the one hand, there are two major reasons as to why many people give financial support or other non-monetary contributions to charities. Firstly, these organizations may make donor’s names known more widely because they often invite reporters and journalists to write about their campaigns. Accordingly, donors’ names would be mentioned in TV channels or online newspapers, which is beneficial for their personal development. Secondly, members of charities are often trained to make a donation. As a result, they would be better at holding community events than a single person who might lack the experience to be a skilled fund-raiser.

On the other hand, others decide to donate directly because not every charity group is believable. Many national charitable organizations made use of donators’ kindness to pocket their money and even noncash items such as books, clothes, furniture, etc. Their donations, therefore, might not reach victims of outbreaks or natural disasters. Thus, to ensure that the needy receive money fully, many individuals choose to make a direct donation, instead of giving funds to aid groups.
In conclusion, in my opinion, national charitable organizations are still well worth a bridge for the whole society to help disadvantaged people due to the above reasons.

Although people in industrialized countries lead a high standard of living, it is undeniable that there are still 1.2 billion people living below the poverty line. In order to solve poverty-related problems, I feel that all kinds of help should be encouraged and respected.

Giving a helping hand to those who are in need in the local community seems reasonable. It is because even in the richest countries, there are still a lot of people, such as disabled people and orphanages, suffering from famine and extreme poverty. For this reason, it is easy and convenient for us to help our fellow citizens, such as donating food or clothing to them, so that we can see the result of our actions immediately. By contrast, it is rather difficult to track expenditure of international aids, which might result in corruption in some cases.

Those who donate money to domestic and international charities believe that the collection of money has a tremendous effect on the poor countries compared with other forms of help. This is because few people are able to donate a large amount of money to construct schools, hospitals and roads in poor areas. Instead, governments and charities can achieve this. International aids can also purchase vaccines which are available in developed countries by using the money raised worldwide and save millions of children's life.

In my view, a minor proportion of donated money and other sorts of help should be appreciated equally as long as the money reaches those who need it desperately. The government could run a campaign and encourage door-to-door help. At the same time, charitable organizations should make every penny count for donors.

There are diverse views on the way one should get involved in delivering charity. While some prefer to do it locally, within their radius, others prefer to expand this radius to reach people at national and international levels. Both these views are significant, and hence a detailed discussion is needed before framing a rational conclusion.

On the one hand, those who have the former view focus that when charity is delivered locally, it would reach the right person. To be precise, the direct delivery of charity would ensure its complete effectiveness because the deliverer can easily identify the real needs of the person who is in need. He can identify clearly the type of help, the time of help, the duration of help and the best way to execute it when it is done within his locality. Therefore, satisfaction would be the maximum for both the 'giver' and the 'taker'.

On the other hand, those who align with the latter view highlight that charity should reach more people based on the intensity of the suffering. To be clearer, one should understand that there are people in the farthest end of either in their own country or in a foreign country who have serious needs including food, medicines, clothes and shelter. This is from the Laokaoya website. They believe that people should understand these people are also their fellow beings, and it is their responsibility to take care of them in the best possible way. Providing money to national and international charity organizations can make this a reality, and hence they prefer this way.

After analysing both views in detail, I feel that charity is one of the basic responsibilities of human beings, and there should not be a question regarding the area of delivering it. However, one should ensure that it reaches the right people.
